The Boundary Commission for Scotland began its 2023 Review of UK Parliament constituencies in Scotland in January 2021.
They have published initial proposals include changes to the current Greenock and Inverclyde constituency, namely:
- renaming as the “Inverclyde and Bridge of Weir Constituency”; and

They have launched a consultation which closes on Wednesday 8 December 2021, and invite comments on their proposals.
They have indicated that:

- they will submit final recommendations before 1 July 2023.
