On - Street Parking

Parking incorrectly, such as on double yellow lines, in a bus stop, on a school keep clear zigzag or across dropped kerbs, even for a few minutes, can cause inconvenience and even danger to other road users and pedestrians.

Parking enforcement is carried out by parking attendants employed by Inverclyde Council. Police Scotland enforces moving traffic offences and some instances of obstruction.

If you are unsure of where to park legally, please refer to sections 238-252 “Waiting and parking” of the Highway Code via the link on this page titled Highway Code.
