Mhairi Lyle
Clydeview Academy, St Columbas High School and Craigmarloch School
I am the project lead for Disability Sport and my other projects include Club Governance, Team Profile and Secondary School Sports Competition.
I also get to work closely with our local sports clubs to create strong links with schools and other partners to create pathways from school sport into club sport.
I started this role in 2015 as an Active Schools Coordinator, coming from my role as Sessional Coach and Volunteer Coach with the team. The reason I do my job is that I have a passion for sport, physical activity and working with children and young people. In this job I get to use sport and physical activity as a driving force to support young people to develop and flourish – while hopefully continuing to take part in sport throughout their life. I also have a strong passion for girls/women’s participation in sport having previously played football as my hobby.
We are always looking for volunteers so if you have a passion for sport, or want to get some coaching experience please do not hesitate to get in touch.
