Council Tax 2023/24 information

Residents across Inverclyde should now have their Council Tax bill for the 2023/24 financial year.

Payments will resume in April 2023 and will be higher than many who live in band A-D properties might be expecting.

In addition to the 5.3 per cent 2023/24 Council Tax increase for Inverclyde residents, there is a five per cent Scottish Water uplift.

Bills will also be higher for many with the absence of the one-off £150 Council Tax reduction from the Scottish Government’s cost of living award received last year only, as well as Inverclyde Council’s own one-off £350 cost of living award for eligible households which was for the 2022/23 period.
