Watt Institution closed today (Wednesday 21 June 2023)
The Watt Institution will be closed today, Wednesday 21 June 2023, due to unforseen circumstances.
The building, which incorporates the McLean Museum, Watt Library, and Watt Hall, was affected by some water ingress due to the severe rain on Tuesday 20 June 2023.
Staff acted swiftly to avoid any damage to artefacts but the site will be closed today to allow the team to restore order and clean up.
The building is expected to be open as normal tomorrow, Thursday 22 June 2023.
