Summary of Committee Remit

The Inverclyde Community Health and Care Partnership Sub-Committee has corporate responsibility for:

• Strategic Health Issues
• Health Improvement
• Integrated Children’s Services
• Child Protection
• Homelessness

The Sub-Committee has responsibility for all duties previously delegated to the Health and Social Care Committee. Its duties can be seen within the Scheme of Establishment agreed with Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board and incorporate directorate planning, performance management reporting and financial monitoring for the following service areas:

• Social Work/Criminal Justice
• Community Care and Strategic Services
• Support and Development (Social Work)
