ORGANISATION – Royal Black District Chapter No. 2 Provincial Grand Black Chapter of Scotland
PROPOSED ROUTE – PORT GLASGOW The Procession will form at Boglestone Avenue and proceed along Kilmacolm Rd, Clune Brae, Glasgow Rd, Caledonia St, and will disperse at Robert St.

ORGANISATION – Inverclyde Leisure
PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The Procession will form at Gourock Outdoor Swimming Pool, Albert Rd and will proceed along Albert Rd, Ashton Rd and Cloch Rd before turning at the Cloch Rd/Inverkip Rd Roundabout and returning to the swimming pool.

DATE AND TIME – Sunday 10 September 2023 at 8.00am
ORGANISATION – Inverclyde Leisure
PROPOSED ROUTE – KILMACOLM The procession will start at Birkmyre Park and will proceed along Pacemuir Road, Florence Drive, left onto Knockbuckle Road, along Knockbuckle Road, turning left into Netherwood Road (for 3k event). For 10k and half marathon, the procession will then turn right into Netherwood Road, right onto N75 cycle path, along the cycle path to the turning point. The procession will return along the exact same route and will finish at Birkmyre Park.
NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 500-600.
REASON – Annual Kilmacolm Running Festival (3k, 10k and Half Marathon)

PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK AND INVERKIP The Procession will form at Kempock St, Gourock and will proceed along Albert Road, Cloch Road in Gourock and onto Inverkip Road and Harbourside Inverkip.
NO. OF PERSONS – Approx 300
REASON – Sponsored Walk for breast cancer care and Ardgowan Hospice.

PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK The Procession will form at Battery Park, Greenock and proceed along Eldon Street, Madeira Street, Newark Street, Eldon Street and back to Battery Park.

ORGANISATION – 3rd Gourock Boys Brigade
PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The procession will start at Binnie St at the junction with McCallum Crescent and will proceed along McCallum Crescent, Broomberry Dr, King St, Royal St and will disperse in front of Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church. The procession will then return by assembling at Binnie St at the junction with John St and will proceed along John St and Royal St before dispersing at Davidson Dr.

PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The procession will start at Binnie St and proceed along John St, Shore St, Pierhead, Kempock St, Bath St, to St John’s Church. The procession will return along the same route.

ORGANISATION – YMI Wheres the One & Oi Musica Galoshans Street Parade
PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK The procession will start at the Ginger the Horse statue on Cathcart St and will proceed down Cathcart St to Cathcart Sq to the performance at the Mid Kirk steps.

PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The procession will start at Binnie St at the junction with McCallum Crescent and will proceed along McCallum Crescent, Broomberry Dr, King St, Royal St and will disperse in front of Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church. PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK The procession will start at Baker St and proceed along Regent St, Bakers Brae, Mearns St and onto Shaw Place to join the main procession.

ORGANISATION – Parade Commander Greenock - Greenock Sea Cadets
PROPOSED ROUTE – GREENOCK The procession will start at Shaw Place and proceed onto Trafalgar St, Regent St into the Wellpark to the cenotaph. The procession will return by taking the same route in reverse before dispersal.

PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The procession will start at Royal St and will proceed on John St, Royal St, Shore St, Kempock St to the cenotaph and will return along Kempock St, Shore St and will disperse on Chalmers Road.

PROPOSED ROUTE – PORT GLASGOW The procession will start at Port Glasgow Civic Sq and will proceed onto Princes St, John Wood St, Fore St and to the cenotaph. The Procession will return along Fore St and Scarlow St and will disperse at the Civic Sq.

ORGANISATION – 85th Greenock & District Scout Group (Inverkip & Wemyss Bay) and 1st Inverkip Guides
PROPOSED ROUTE – INVERKIP The procession will leave from Inverkip Church Hall and will proceed down Langhouse Rd, proceeding along Main St through the village itself to the south end of the village. The procession will cross the A78 using the crossing point at the south exit from the village and onto the footpath which runs alongside the Marina to the war memorial at Inverkip Beach. The procession will return along the same route.

PROPOSED ROUTE – GOUROCK The procession will leave Binnie St at the BT Building and proceed to John St, left down to Shore St,left to Pierhead,left round Kempock Place , left onto Bath Street and up to St.John’s Church. The procession will return by proceeding from Bath Street to Kempock Place to await arrival of main parade to Ashton War Memorial for 12.15pm wreath laying ceremony. The procession will then proceed along Kempock St, Pierhead,Shore Street , John Street and turning right back into Binnie Street for dismissal at the BT Building
