Consultation on Proposed Disposal of Land at Bogston Lane, Greenock

The Council is considering selling land at Bogston Lane, Greenock (“the Property”), being part of the common good, and is keen to hear the views of the community on this proposal so these can be considered when a decision is reached on whether or not to proceed.  

The details of the proposed sale is on the following terms:

  • the purchaser will be CC Units Ltd; 
  • the date of entry is yet to be agreed;
  • for an open market price; and
  • on normal commercial sale terms.

The Council is carrying out this consultation under Section 104 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2025, as the Property is part of the common good.
