Children's Services Plan
More information
“Nurturing Inverclyde” is a set of values, partnerships and practices that deliver child focussed services. Its principles are set through a strategic vision of early help and early support to our most vulnerable and in need children, young people and their families through engagement, participation, individual and community asset building,
Our approach has been threaded across the Council and has informed the developments of community planning since 2010. This pioneering and innovative approach was recognised by a gold COSLA Excellence Award in 2013.
We aspire that every child, citizen and community will be safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected and responsible and included. These are relevant to all Council services and community planning partners, as each service can demonstrate how they contribute to these wellbeing outcomes.
On the following pages you will find out exactly what we are doing to ensure that every child is safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected and responsible and included. You will also find out what impact we have had.
We are currently developing an interactive web site for our Children’s Services Plan. This will be available shortly.
