Around one in four of us will experience a mental illness at some point in our lives. When this happens having access to the right treatment and support is vital to help people recover as soon as possible.   Service users have told us that, wherever possible, they would prefer to receive this within their own home or in the local community facilities. 

Services to help people with their mental health in Inverclyde have been redesigned over the last few years to enable us to respond quickly to support people experiencing mental illness.  We have invested in new facilities for our community and inpatient services.   The community services are based at Crown House, and our inpatient service is at Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
