I do not want participate in the new garden waste collection service. What happens next?

We would encourage everyone to continue using the garden waste collection service, wherever possible. If you do not want to use this service, then you do not need to apply for a permit.

If you have an existing brown bin and would like to recycle your garden waste yourself, you can continue to use your brown bin to store your garden waste then bring it along to one of our recycling centres at Pottery Street, Greenock or Craigmuschat Quarry, Gourock.
