Greenock West and Cardwell Bay Community Council Interim Election 2025
Community Councils are the third tier of government, bridging the gap between communities, council and national governments.
They play an important role in towns and villages across Scotland.
The 2025 Interim Election for the Greenock West and Cardwell Bay Community Council is now under way.

Anyone who is interested in becoming or remaining a Community Councillor should complete and return a written nomination form by no later than 4pm on Friday 28 February 2025 and either:
- return it to the Inverclyde Council, Customer Service Centre, Municipal Buildings, Clyde Square, Greenock, PA15 1LX marked for the attention of The Head of Legal, Democratic, Digital and Customer Services; or
- scan and email it to community.councils@inverclyde.gov.uk.

Nomination forms received after 4pm on Friday 28 February 2025 will not be accepted.
Any currently co-opted members of the Greenock West and Cardwell Bay Community Council are reminded that should they wish to remain as members, they will need to seek nomination and election once again in terms of the above.
