Employability Sessions
We will be hosting employability sessions running in Central & Port Glasgow Libraries covering Digital Skills, job searching, crafting professional emails, online security and CV skills.
The Port Glasgow sessions are every Tuesday from 10am to 11am, running 12th July to 16th August.
The Central sessions are every Friday from 10am to 11am, running 5th August to 9th September.
Improve your digital skills and gain access to new opportunities. Learn how to craft professional emails, attach your CV and use various productivity tools.
Learn better and more effective job searching and CV writing. All skill levels welcome!

Looking for work? Can’t decide which career path to choose? Or perhaps you’d like to develop within your current job?
Whether you need to improve your interview skills, or just want to know how to produce a professional CV, the library can point you in the right direction.
Community Learning and Development can provide support in terms of learning new IT skills or help filling in your CV. Work Clubs are held in Central Library every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm and in Port Glasgow Library every Thursday from 1pm to 3pm. Basic Computing courses are also run by Community Learning and Development in Central Library on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 10am to 12noon. Please note sessions may not be available during school holidays. Please contact the number below for availability.
