South West Library Thursdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm

Learn through: 
Half hour drop-in sessions using learner’s own device to solve basic digital queries. 
Learner-led session should be pre-booked by contacting your local branch or 01475 712323

Allocation of places is on a first come, first served basis.

 

Horticulture: Allotment Gardening

A free course run by West College Scotland & Inverclyde Libraries.
Starts Monday 27th March, 12.30PM-3.30PM

This Level 4 course is designed to develop the candidates skills in allotment gardening.

This FREE practical course will be delivered from: 
South West Library,
159 Inverkip Road, 
Greenock.

The unit is designed to develop skills in growing a range of fruit and vegetables from planting to harvest.

Course Information:
The Unit is for candidates with little or no experience of horticulture

Outcomes
1. Gather information on a range of fruit and vegetables for growing in an allotment.
2. Carry out preparation of a small production area.
3. Plant out an area with a selection of fruit and vegetable crops.
4. Carry out aftercare of crops.
5. Harvest a selection of fruit and vegetable crops.
