Inverclyde Council and local partners will be offering advice, assistance, and information on health and wellbeing at a pop-up shop in Gourock.

The four-day event, taking place at McGilps on Kempock Street, Gourock from Tuesday 13th to Friday 16th August, will see a range of local services come together to engage with the community.

Visitors can expect to find information on free sanitary products and the opportunity to receive reusable options.

Staff from the Council’s Health Improvement Team, CVS Inverclyde, Inverclyde Leisure, and the Centre for Independent Living will be on hand to offer support and guidance.

Each day will focus on different aspects of health and wellbeing, including Naloxone, physical activity, healthy eating, and community support.

Depute leader of Inverclyde Council, Councillor Natasha McGuire, who is also vice-convener of the Education and Communities Committee said: “This is a great initiative to go out into our community and let people know what support is out there.

“A wide range of topics are being covered so I hope lots of people will pop along to find out more.”

The pop-up shop will be open from 10am till 4pm each day.
