Licensing policy review survey
A review of the Licensing Policy for Inverclyde has been launched and people can have their say by taking part in a short survey.
Each local authority area has its own Licensing Policy which sets out the rules licensed premises such as pubs, clubs, bars, and restaurants must follow and their responsibilities.
Every Licensing Board must publish a statement of their policy, with respect to the exercise of its functions under legislation, within 18 months of any local government election in line with the terms of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, as amended.
Inverclyde Licensing Board is therefore conducting a review of its Licensing Policy and people are being invited to take part in a short survey to have their say on the existing policy, provide feedback, and suggest any changes they would like to see made.
The survey closes will close on Saturday 20 May 2023.
The Board is required to publish its new Policy Statement by 4 November 2023.
