Free library IT sessions continue

FREE IT lessons are continuing across Inverclyde libraries from next month.

The council’s libraries service is hosting ‘Bring IT On’ sessions for adults beginning in April 2022 in many local branches.

The free, informal sessions will be available at Greenock Central, Port Glasgow, Gourock and Kilmacolm libraries over a six-week period from Monday 4 April and will be delivered by friendly, knowledgeable staff.

People will be shown basic IT skills to help them with things like connecting with others, shopping and learning online safely.

Sessions are designed for people with little or no experience with computers and will be delivered in the relaxed environment of a local library.

They are part of the Inverclyde Libraries’ wider ‘Discover IT @ the Library’ programme, which also includes ‘Device Advice’ support service.

All session blocks should be booked in advance.

For details of dates, times and locations or to book a place contact a local library directly, call 01475 712323 or email library.central@inverclyde.gov.uk.
