Byelaws

The following byelaws promoted by Inverclyde Council are currently in force. If anyone has any issues with being able to access/read the documentation, the Council will endeavour to make alternative and more accessible documentation available. The Council can also provide a copy of the formal register of byelaws if required. The Inverclyde Council Byelaws on the Employment of Children 2004

These byelaws were made on 16 April 2004 in exercise of the powers conferred upon Inverclyde Council by s28(2) and 30(2) of the Children and Young Persons (Scotland) Act 1937. The byelaws were confirmed by the Scottish Ministers on 4 June 2004  and came into force on 21 June 2004.   The byelaws contain provisions regarding the employment of children in the Inverclyde area.
