More information

Inverclyde is located on the River Clyde with scenic views and good road and rail networks putting the rest of the country, and the UK, within easy reach.

The majority of the Council's employees are now accomodated in custom-built town centre office space with the state of the art offices in Hector McNeil House, Princes House Port Glasgow and the Customer Service Centre in the historic Municipal Buildings.

Though one of the smaller Councils in Scotland the area we serve is diverse and many members of the community face social, economic and environmental challenges. The council is committed to helping people to address these and enjoy the best quality of life possible.

With regeneration and sustainable development as key priorities the council is focused on expanding and improving the local economy, regenerating the area through attracting investment, and investing in the future of the town through the education service.

Progress has been made, but the council and its employees are committed to continuing it, while delivering the best services possible.
