Glenmosston Flood Protection Scheme 2021
The effect of the proposed scheme will be to manage the risk of flooding within the village of Kilmacolm from Glenmosston Burn. The proposed operations to be carried out include the construction of an earth bund with a v-notch weir to control the flow of Glenmosston Burn. In addition a trash screen will be installed to prevent debris from building up at the v-notch weir. The flood prevention scheme is installed at the location of Glenmosston Wildlife Reserve, Kilmacolm.
