Craigmuschat Quarry Recycling Centre has facilities to allow residents to dispose of mixed recyclates, garden waste, wood, cardboard, glass, plastics, textiles, scrap metal, soil, rubble and small electrical items
Please note, from 1 October 2023 only recyclable materials will be accepted at Craigmuschat Recycling Centre.
Additional recycling facilities will be available on site.
General household waste can be disposed of at Pottery Street Recycling Centre.

Last entry is 15 minutes before closing. All vehicles must be off site by closing time.
Vans and trailers are not permitted at the site.
Due to the size of the site, service breaks to allow the skips to be emptied will need to take place throughout the day. During these times the site will be temporarily closed.
Please follow all instructions.
Upholstered furniture waste must be kept separate from other types of waste.
There are dedicated skips at Pottery Street and Craigmuschat Recycling Centres for the disposal of these items.
When disposing of upholstered furniture at our Recycling Centres, where possible please keep the item in one piece. Securely cover and wrap any ripped, torn or exposed areas to reduce the risk of potential pollutants entering the environment.
Please place upholstered furniture in the appropriate collection skip.
