If you pay council tax over 10 months you may be able to spread the cost over 12 months if you move to direct debit. You can arrange this at www.inverclyde.gov.uk/counciltaxonline or by calling 01475 712961

£100 Inverclyde Council Covid 19 Council Tax payment
Inverclyde Council agreed to credit the 2021/22 Council Tax accounts of approximately 4000 Council Tax Reduction recipients with £100. The payment will be made automatically for those who meet the agreed criteria, it is not an application process.
Qualifying Criteria
The qualifying criteria for the payment is:
The Council Tax payer must be in receipt of Council Tax Reduction at 13th April 2021 PLUS one of the following:
- Families with school age children who do not qualify for FSM/SCG
- Families with pre-school children only
- Single and do not qualify for the Winter Fuel Payment
- Couples who do not qualify for the Winter Fuel Payment
Council Tax notices will be issued during week beginning 19th April 2021 showing the £100 payment and the revised monthly instalments due for the remainder of 2021/22.
