Inverclyde Gaelic Language Plan

The Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005 (the Act), seeks to secure the status of Gaelic as an official language of Scotland commanding equal respect to the English language. Inverclyde Council recognises the value and importance of Gaelic to Scotland and we are committed to playing our part in helping sustain and develop Scotland’s national language.
