Inverclyde Libraries offers school membership cards for all Secondary Schools based in Inverclyde.  These entitle individual classes to borrow a maximum of 30 items for up to 6 weeks at a time and are a great way to introduce new books to your pupils or to borrow a group of titles linked to a specific topic. Application forms can be downloaded via the link on the left and can be returned to your local library. Applications should be completed by the Head Teacher. Please indicate whether you require one membership for the school or would prefer a separate membership card for each level S1-6.

Community Outreach

If you are promoting reading, literacy or library membership at your school it may be possible for a member of library staff to visit and support you with this activity. If you have an established book group or club the Young People’s Services Librarian would be delighted to visit. Please just get in touch on the number below.

You will find a wide range of additional resources to help promote reading and literacy at your school on the Scottish Book Trusts website; you’ll find a link on the left.
