Year of the Young People Legacy Awards
The Year of Young People 2018 celebrated everything that makes Scotland’s young people incredible. It put the spotlight on the contributions and achievements of 8-26 year olds, whilst giving them a stronger voice on issues that matter to them. Community Learning & Development, Youth Work Services hosted the Year of the Young People Awards Ceremony in 2018 to encompass the Year of the Young People vision.
The Year of the Young People Legacy Awards is a follow up from last year awards ceremony. Last year the awards ceremony was a true success with young people throughout Inverclyde competing and nominating. As young people in Inverclyde can go underappreciated for their efforts in the community, this awards ceremony shows Inverclyde’s young people that their efforts in the community are appreciated.
Do you know a young person deserving of an award for their efforts in the community? Now is your opportunity to nominate them, as Community Learning & Development is hosting an Awards Ceremony for young people across Inverclyde.
By nominating, you give someone the chance to win an award in a specific category as well as the opportunity to be voted “Inverclyde’s Outstanding Young Person 2019".
All nominations can be made online by visiting:

Closing date for nominations is Wednesday 23 October 2019.
