Adult Learners Forum (ALFi)
Learners’ voices are at the heart of adult learning in Inverclyde. All learners automatically become ALFi members when they begin their learning journey with CLD.
With the support of CLD, ALFi members work together to support all adult learners. ALFi aim to ensure that all learning opportunities meet the needs of learners and are accessible to all, “We are a voice for learners and we want to hear what you have to say!”
ALFi meet regularly to share experiences, discuss on-going opportunities and support each other to achieve their goals. ALFi are always looking for like-minded people to come along and have a say in what’s happening within Inverclyde.
In addition to the meetings, members of the forum have had the opportunity to represent learners at national conferences, broadcast live on Inverclyde Radio and even make their own DVD.
If you would like to find out more, why not come along to our fortnightly meetings in Greenock Central Library, Friday mornings, 10.00am-12noon.
