Free Learning from the Open University
“Skills for Work” is a new portal developed when Scottish Local Authorities and Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) partnered with the Open University to provide a selection of free training courses aimed at enhancing career opportunities. The topics covered are:-

Part-Time Free Grant
Most Open University students in Scotland study for free with the Part-Time Fee Grant. If you earn less than £25,000 pa you will be eligible for the part-time study grant and you can access free learning and work towards achieving a Degree qualification.
