Public Private Partnership Feasibility Study:  Acceptance of Tender

405

There was submitted a report dated April 2001 by the Director of Education Services on the results of the tender evaluation process undertaken relative to the appointment of a consultant to carry out a feasibility study which would assist in the early stages of the development of education public private partnership projects.

During the course of the discussion, Councillor Mitchell advised the Committee that the Liberal Democrat Group would no longer be participating in the Working Group established to review the usage of education accommodation across Inverclyde.

Decided:

(1)  that it be agreed to award the contract to Messrs PriceWaterhouseCoopers;  and

(2)  that the withdrawal of the Liberal Democrat Group from the Education Services:  Managing Accommodation Working Group be noted.
