Chair:  Councillor Mitchell presided.

In attendance:  Director of Education Services and Head of Personnel Services.

The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee.

It was agreed in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item on the grounds that the business involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part l of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

Shortlisting and Arrangements for Interview of Applicants -

Post of Head of Planning and Resources, Education Services

There were submitted copies of applications received from nine candidates for the post of Head of Planning and Resources, Education Services.   The Sub-Committee decided to call a short list of four candidates for interview, (one of whom subsequently withdrew his application), and thereafter make an appointment, all as detailed in the Appendix.
