In attendance:-  The Chief Executive, the Depute Chief Executive, the Assistant Chief Executive (Economic Development and Urban Regeneration), the Director of Central Services, the Director of Finance and the Director of Legal Services.

RESOLUTION:  EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS

On the motion of the Convener it was agreed unanimously that, in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the undernoted item of business on the grounds that consideration of the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 8 and 9 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

There was submitted a report by the Depute Chief Executive on the proposed acquisition and sale and redevelopment of a site in Greenock in which the Council had an interest as owner and the Committee agreed to proceed as detailed in the Appendix.
