In attendance:  Director of Resource Services, Director of Social Work & Housing Services and Head of Personnel Services.

The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee.

It was agreed in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item on the grounds that the business involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

The Sub-Committee interviewed the following candidates:

1.  Euan Couperwhite, East Ayrshire Council

2.  Stuart Fair, Renfrewshire Council

3.  Caroline Whyteside, North Lanarkshire Council

4.  Colin Struthers, Inverclyde Council

Decided: unanimously to appoint Colin Struthers to the post of Head of Finance and Administration, Social Work & Housing Services.
