Housing Revenue Account Capital Programme 2002/2003 - 2003/2004

There was submitted a report by the Director of Social Work & Housing Services on the draft HRA Capital Programme 2002/2003 - 2003/2004 together with amended Appendices 1, 2 and 3.

Decided:

(1)  that the Capital Programme 2002/2003-2003/2004 be as set out in amended Appendices 1, 2 and 3 of the report;

(2)  that an allocation from the Estate Repairs Budget be used to fund lead pipe replacement works within Council properties where there are priority cases; and

(3)  that it be agreed to consider providing funding from the Non-HRA Capital Programme for any resultant applications for grants from owner occupiers within affected properties and that it be remitted to the Director of Social Work & Housing Services to report to the Policy & Strategy Committee should it not be possible to contain the grant funding to owner occupiers within the Private Sector Housing Capital Programme.
