CHILD CARE SUB-COMMITTEE

Present:- Councillors Moody, O’Rourke, McGhee, Nimmo, Mulholland and Campbell, Councillor O’Rourke, Convener, in the Chair.

 

In attendance:- Ms E Henderson (for the Executive Director Education Services),

Ms L Brabender (for the Executive Director Legal, Information and Support Services) and the Director of Central Services.

 

Apologies for absence were intimated on behalf of Councillors Morrison (D), McCabe, Rebecchi and Jackson.

 

The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee.

 

   668      RESOLUTION : EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS                                                                    668

 

On the motion of the Convener, it was agreed unanimously that in terms of Section50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the undernoted item of business on the grounds that consideration of the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 6 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

 

   669      REGISTRATION OF DAY CARER                                                                                                       669

 

There was submitted a report by the Executive Director Education Services recommending that the registration of a day carer be cancelled on the ground that the day carer had failed to comply with the requirements of her registration and this was agreed, all as detailed in the Appendix.
