|
There was submitted a report by the Depute Chief Executive on Riverside Inverclyde (1) seeking approval to enter into an agreement with Scottish Enterprise Renfrewshire to facilitate a 10 year masterplan in which the Council provides commitment to Riverside Inverclyde with a financial commitment up to at least year 4 and (2) detailing the financial implications. |

Decided: |
|
|
(1) that the Committee approve the Corporate Management Team recommendation that the 2005/06 funding for Year 1 costs be included within the 2005/06 bottom line, up to a maximum value of £200,000; |
|
|
(2) that delegated authority be granted to the Depute Chief Executive to enter into an agreement with Scottish Enterprise Renfrewshire, in consultation with the Solicitor to the Council and the Chief Financial Officer, to facilitate a 10 year masterplan, for Riverside Inverclyde; |
|
|
(3) that the Committee note that the financial implications may be of the order of £7.2m over the next 3 financial years and the funding solution including potential capitalisation is to be sought by the Depute Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer as part of the budget process for this year's budget round; |
|
|
(4) that the Depute Chief Executive be requested to bring reports back to Committee for approval of expenditure for individual projects; and |
|
|
(5) that regular reports be made to the Environment & Regeneration Committee on financial progress and outputs. |
