Personnel (Appeals & Applied Conditions of Service) Sub-Committee

In attendance:  Mr F Jarvie (for Head of Legal Services) and Ms B McQuarrie (for Head of Personnel Services).

The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee.

It was agreed in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that the business involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

The Sub-Committee considered a Grievance Appeal on behalf of 12 employees in Grounds, Transport & Cleansing Services

and decided, following a vote, that the meeting be adjourned until Friday 5 August 2005 at 10.30 am to allow for further information relating to the Appeal to be obtained.
