Personnel (Appeals & Applied Conditions of Service) Sub-Committee

The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee.

It was agreed in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that the business involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

Grievance Appeal - Employee in Property Services

The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of an Appeal against dismissal on behalf of an employee in Property Services, which had been adjourned from the meeting held on 6 November 2003, to allow the appellant to attend an independent occupational health advisor. 

Following a vote, the Sub-Committee decided that the appeal be not upheld, all as detailed in the Appendix.
