paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under
the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee. |

It was agreed in
terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as
amended, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the
following item of business on the grounds that the business involved the
likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part I
of Schedule 7(A) of the Act. |

Grievance Appeal - Employee in
Transportation & Roads Service |

The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of a Grievance Appeal on behalf of an employee in Transportation & Roads Service, which had been adjourned from the meeting held on 19 August 2003 to allow for matters relating to the Appeal to be clarified. Following consideration, the Sub-Committee agreed (a) that with regard to Part I(I) and Part 2(I) of the Appeal, a formal decision was not necessary as the issues raised had now been resolved and (b) that with regard to Part I(2) of the Appeal, the Hearing be adjourned to a future date, all as detailed in the Appendix. |
