PERSONNEL (APPEALS AND APPLIED CONDITIONS OF SERVICE) SUB-COMMITTEE

Present:- Councillors Sir Simpson Stevenson, O'Rourke, Jackson, Nimmo, Calvert and Welch, Councillor Sir Simpson Stevenson, Convener, in the Chair.

 

In attendance:- Mr A S Grant (for the Director of Central Services) and the Director of Personnel Services.

The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee.

 

   271      RESOLUTION : EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS                                                                   271

 

On the motion of the Convener it was agreed unanimously that, in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the undernoted item of business on the grounds that consideration of the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

 

  272      GRIEVANCE APPEAL - EMPLOYEE IN SOCIAL WORK AND HOUSING SERVICES                 272 

The Sub-Committee considered a grievance appeal on behalf of an employee in Social Work and Housing Services and decided that the appeal be not upheld, all as detailed in the Appendix.
