PERSONNEL (APPEALS AND APPLIED CONDITIONS OF SERVICE) SUB-COMMITTEE

Present:- Councillors Jackson, Nimmo, Mulholland, Sir Simpson Stevenson, Rebecchi and Welch, Councillor Sir Simpson Stevenson, Convener, in the Chair.

 

In attendance:- Mr A S Grant (for the Director of Central Services), Mr H McNeilly (for the Executive Director Legal, Information & Support Services) and Mr C Fairley (for the Director Personnel Services).

 

The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee.

 

1329      RESOLUTION : EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS                                                                  1329

 

On the motion of the Convener it was agreed unanimously that, in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the undernoted item of business on the grounds that consideration of the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

1330      GRIEVANCE APPEAL - EMPLOYEE IN PERSONNEL SERVICES                                                1330 

The Sub-Committee considered a grievance appeal on behalf of an employee in Personnel Services and decided that the appeal be upheld in part, all as detailed in the Appendix.
