OF SERVICE) SUB-COMMITTEE

Present:- Councillors Clocherty, McGhee (for O'Rourke), Morrison M (for Jackson), Sir Simpson Stevenson, Nimmo and Rebecchi, Councillor Sir Simpson Stevenson, Convener, in the Chair.

 

In attendance:- The Director of Central Services, Mr H McNeilly (for the Director of Legal Services) and Mr A Moore (for the Director of Personnel Services).

   678      RESOLUTION : EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS                                                                    678 

 

On the motion of the Convener it was agreed unanimously that, in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government Scotland Act 1973 as amended, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the undernoted item of business on the grounds that consideration of the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

GRIEVANCE APPEAL - EMPLOYEES IN DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WORK                                            679 

 

The Sub-Committee considered a collective grievance appeal by 6 employees in the Department of Social Work and decided that the appeal be not upheld, all as detailed in the Appendix.
