Ltd, Units 1-2 Fort Matilda Estate, Greenock |

It was agreed that this application be continued until the meeting of the Panel on 22 June 2005 to allow the objectors the statutory seven days timescale for notification of the Panel meeting. |

Street Trader’s Licence: James Paul |

It was agreed that the application be continued to the next appropriate meeting to allow clarification on ownership of the snack van to be sought. |

It was agreed in
terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as
amended that the public and press be excluded from the meeting during
consideration of the following item on the grounds that the business involved
the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 6 of Part
I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act. |

Councillor Snoddy declared an interest in this item by virtue of a previous business association and left the meeting. Councillor Nimmo took the Chair. |

There was submitted a report dated 26 May 2005 by the Director of Corporate Services on an application by James Wilson for a Taxi Driver’s Licence following a representation by the Chief Constable that the applicant was not a fit and proper person to hold such a licence by virtue of his conduct. The Panel heard Superintendent Stewart, Mr Wilson and Mr Caldwell, agent for the applicant. |
