There was submitted a report dated 7 September 2001 by the Director of Legal & Support Services on an application for a Permit for Amusement with Prizes Machine from ECR Ltd to operate one machine within the premises known as Rico's Nightclub, 2 Ann Street, Greenock, consideration of which was continued from the last meeting of the Panel (Minute Ref 09/08/2001, para 624). |

There was submitted a report dated 17 September 2001 by the Director of Legal & Support Services on an application for the grant of a Taxi Licence by Cathal P McGhee to allow him to operate a vehicle especially adapted for use by the disabled. The Panel heard Mr McGhee in support of his application. |

|
Decided: that the application be granted subject to the standard conditions, together with the special conditions as set out in Appendix 4 of the report. |

There was submitted a report dated 18 September 2001 by the Director of Legal & Support Services advising of the results of the statutory consultation exercise and subsequent action taken. |

It was agreed in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government
(Scotland) Act 1973 as amended that the public and press be excluded from the

the Act. |

The Panel heard Superintendent Gordon and Mr Harkins. |

The Panel heard Superintendent Gordon and Mr Gillespie. |

There was submitted a report dated 29 August 2001 by the Director of Legal & Support Services on an application for a Taxi Driver’s Licence by Angus Ewing following an objection by the Chief Constable that the applicant was not a fit and proper person to hold such a licence by virtue of his previous convictions. |
