The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Panel.
1084 LATE HOURS CATERING LICENCES: 13 DECEMBER 1999 - 2 JANUARY 2000 1084
SUBMITTED: Report dated 20 October 1999 by the Director of Legal & Support Services requesting the Panel to consider whether it wishes to allow additional hours to premises licensed for late hours catering during the period 13 December 1999 to 2 January 2000.
DECIDED:
(a) That applications for variations of the Late Hours Catering Licence may be granted until 1.30 am for the period 13 December 1999 to 2 January 2000;
(b) That the usual requirement for a public advertisement for such applications be waived due to the short period during which the extended hours would operate; and
(c) That all applications must be submitted prior to 12 November 1999 and would be dealt with under powers delegated to the Director of Central Services.
1085 RESOLUTION: EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS 1085
On the motion of the Convener, it was agreed unanimously that, in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the undernoted item of business on the grounds that consideration of the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 6 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.
1086 SUSPENSION OF TAXI DRIVER’S LICENCE: COLIN MacDONALD 1086
There was submitted a report by the Director of Legal & Support Services requesting the Panel to consider the suspension of the Taxi Driver’s Licence held by Colin MacDonald and the Panel agreed that the Taxi Driver’s Licence be suspended immediately for the remainder of its term, all as detailed in the Appendix.
