Proposed Home Zone Designation -
Robert Street, Port Glasgow |

There was submitted a report by the Director of Corporate Services relative to the making of the Robert Street, Port Glasgow Home Zone Designation Order in terms of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2001 and the Home Zone (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 2002. It was noted that the making of the Order had been recommended for approval by the Planning & Traffic Management Committee at its meeting on 2 June 2004 subject to no objections to the proposals being received following advertisement. |

Resolved on the motion of Councillor Forbes
seconded by Councillor Stewart that “THE INVERCLYDE COUNCIL, incorporated
under the Local Government etc (Scotland) Act 1994, RESOLVE TO MAKE as they
HEREBY MAKE a Resolution under Section 74(1) of the Transport (Scotland) Act
2001 to designate as a Home Zone the lengths of road at Ashgrove Lane, Bruce
Street, Caledonia Street, Clune Park Street, Glasgow Road (southern footway
between Caledonia Street and Robert Street), Maxwell Street, Montgomerie
Street, Robert Street, Wallace Street and Wilson Street, Port Glasgow all as
detailed in a copy of the Order forming a supplement to the principal minute
hereof”, and that the Head of Transportation & Roads Service and Director
of Legal & Support Services be authorised to take all necessary action in
connection therewith. |

There was submitted a report by the Director of Corporate Services relative to the making of the Stopping Up Order - Anderson Street, Port Glasgow in terms of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984. It was noted that the making of the Order had been recommended for approval by the Planning & Traffic Management Committee at its meeting on 1 September 2004. |

to permit the stopping up of the length of road in Anderson Street, Port
Glasgow all as detailed in a copy of the Order forming a supplement to the
principal minute hereof”, and that the Head of Transportation & Roads
Service and Director of Legal & Support Services be authorised to take
all necessary action in connection therewith. |
