Chair:  Provost Roach presided.

 

 

In attendance:  Chief Executive, Depute Chief Executive, Mr G Douglas (for Director of Legal & Support Services), Director of Social Work & Housing Services, Head of Financial Services, Head of Planning Services, Head of Property Services and Head of Transportation & Roads Service.

Minute of Meeting of Health Improvement Committee (Special) - 28 January 2003

Approval of the minute as a correct record was moved by Councillor McCabe seconded by Councillor Morrison (D).  Councillor McCabe seconded by Councillor Morrison (D) moved with reference to the paragraph entitled "Housing Revenue Account Budget 2003-2004" that the decision of the Committee as minuted be approved.  As an amendment, Councillor Rebecchi seconded by Councillor McGraw moved that a further amount of £218,000 from the Housing Reserve Fund Balance be used to restrict the rent increase to around the rate of inflation.  On a vote, 7 Members voted for the amendment and 8 for the motion which was declared carried.

 

 

Decided:  that the minute be approved.

Licensing & Registration Panel (Special) - 19 December 2002

Approved on the motion of Councillor Morrison (D) seconded by Councillor Morrison (M) with the exception of paragraph 1003 (Application for Street Trader's Licence: Daniel Ogilvie) where it was agreed to remit the application to the Licensing & Registration Panel for further consideration.

 

 

It was agreed in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended that the public and press be excluded from the meeting on the grounds that consideration of the following item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.
