There were submitted reports by the Chief Executive on (a) the detail and implications for the local authority resulting from the redesign proposals for older people, people with mental health needs and people with learning disabilities which have been developed as part of the NHS Argyll & Clyde reprovisioning programme and (b) the current position in respect of Inverclyde Community Health Partnership. (Councillor Hunter left the meeting during consideration of this item of business). |

Decided: |
|
|
(1) that the possible impact on local authority budgets and service provision resulting from the reprovisioning proposals be noted; |
|
|
(2) that the current position with regard to Inverclyde Community Health Partnership be noted; and |
|
|
(3) that arrangements be made for a seminar for all Elected Members, to be addressed by the Chief Executive of NHS Argyll & Clyde and involving the Corporate Management Team and Senior Officers of the Council, to present the Board’s position on hospital reprovisioning and the issues and matters relating to the development of the Inverclyde Community Health Partnership. |
