Grants to Voluntary Organisations - November 2007

There was submitted a report by the Head of Economic and Social Regeneration requesting the Sub-Committee to consider the grant applications detailed in appendix B to the report and decide on the levels of grants to be awarded.

Councillor Blair declared an interest in the application by the Ardgowan Club as a member of the Club and took no part in its consideration or decision.

It was agreed in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 as amended, that the public and press be excluded from the meeting for the following items on the grounds that the business involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 6 of Part I of Schedule 7(A) of the Act.

The Sub-Committee then considered the particular circumstances with regard to the remaining grant applications.
