The following paragraphs are submitted for information only, having been dealt with under the powers delegated to the Sub-Committee. 

 

 

The Convener being of the opinion that applications from the Inverclyde Juvenile Pipe Band, Caddlehill Allotment Gardens and St Lawrence’s Amateur Football Club should be considered at the earliest opportunity to permit the organisations to order their finances moved that the applications be added to the list to allow the Sub-Committee to determine whether grant aid should be given.  This was agreed in terms of the relevant Standing Order.

The Director of Community Services advised that the Light Trust of Port Glasgow had requested that the grant of £3,000 previously issued be used for other purposes.

 

 

Decided:  that the request be agreed.

Inverclyde Counselling Service

The Director of Community Services advised that Inverclyde Counselling Service had notified him of the proposed merger with Renfrewshire Council on Alcohol indicating that all assets and liabilities would be transferred to Renfrewshire Council on Alcohol and seeking agreement in principle to that transfer.

 

 

Decided:  that the request to the transfer of grant funding be agreed.
