Unpaid Work Requests
Community Payback Orders (CPOs) are a sentencing option that can be issued by courts and can involve unpaid work, which allows individuals to give back to their communities and serves as an alternative to imprisonment.
Individuals are carefully assessed before they're assigned to a work project and are supervised by staff while on site at all times.
Local organisations, community groups or members of the public can submit an application for work to be undertaken in their home or that's of benefit to the community.
Eligibility Criteria
- We can only accept applications where work undertaken won't deprive others of opportunity for paid employment.
- We can only do the work if nobody else is available to do the work and you can't afford to pay someone to do it.
- You must supply and pay for all materials the Unpaid Work team need to do the job.
