Diamond Wedding Anniversaries
If you, or someone you know, residing within Inverclyde, is due to celebrate a Diamond Wedding Anniversary (or other special wedding anniversary) and you wish to request civic recognition of this special occasion, you should contact the Provost's Office on 01475 712727. Please note, only anniversaries of 60 or more years will be recognised.
It is usual for the Provost (or if the Provost is unavailable, the Depute Provost), to call on the couple to present a basket of flowers on behalf of the Council.
Arrangements for a message of congratulations from His Majesty The King can be made by contacting the Lord Lieutenant's Office on 0141 577 3143. Due to Data Protection the Provost's Office cannot arrange this.
